Sky Greece Airlines S.A. files for Bankruptcy/Creditor Protection
SkyGreece Airlines S.A. has announced that it has filed for credit protection. Ernst & Young Inc. has been appointed as Trustee to monitor and assist the company with its restructuring efforts and to determine how its creditors, including passengers will be compensated.
Ernst & Young Inc. advises that to improve customer communications, SkyGreece Airlines S.A. is in the process of establishing a customer and creditor support centre to be operational in the coming days.

TICO will update its Advisory when further information becomes available regarding how affected passengers may file for reimbursement with the Trustee, Ernst & Young Inc.
Travel Compensation Fund
Consumers who have purchased their SkyGreece Airlines S.A. travel services from a registered Ontario travel agency and who did not receive their travel services and have not been reimbursed may file a claim from the Ontario Travel Industry Compensation Fund:
PLEASE NOTE:
TICO has been and will continue to provide consumers affected by SkyGreece Airlines suspension of operations with claim forms against the Travel Compensation Fund. Consumers who purchased their SkyGreece Airlines S.A. services from an Ontario registered travel agency may have eligible claims should they not be successful obtaining a refund from any other person who may be legally obliged to reimburse or compensate the customer including but not limited to:
· SkyGreece Airlines, S.A. through the airline's restructuring efforts with Ernst & Young Inc.
· Credit card companies for consumers who paid by credit card and have been charged by the airline.
· Consumers holding tickets starting with the numbers "169" issued on SkyGreece Airlines' partner Hahn Air.
· Insurance coverage that consumers may have purchased.
Section 57(1)(c) of Ontario Regulation 26/05 requires claimants to seek reimbursement from any other recourse available to them prior to their claim being presented to TICO's Board of Directors for consideration.

Please note that there is a legislated 6 month claim filing deadline. The filing deadline is February 29, 2016.
Consumers who purchased their travel services from a travel agency (online or bricks&mortar) are being advised to contact their travel agent for assistance.

TICO, have issued a travel advisory, regarding the cessation of operations by SKYGREECE AIRLINES S.A.
Paragon Travel does not have any clients booked traveling with Skygreece Airlines S.A. or the agency that it is marketed by in Ontario.
If you have an outstanting ticket with this Airline or are trying to complete your interupted flight arrangements, we advise you to contact the Tico registered travel agent that you booked your flights with. If you did not book through a TICO registered agency, we recommend that you follow the recommendations in TICO's advisory below.

SkyGreece Airlines S.A. located in Attiki, Greece has announced temporary cessation of operations as of August 27, 2015.
Consumers who have purchased their SkyGreece Airlines S.A. travel services from a registered Ontario travel agency and who did not receive their travel services and have not been reimbursed may file a claim from the Ontario Travel Industry Compensation Fund:

Consumers who purchased their SkyGreece Airlines S.A. travel services from an out-of-province travel agency (i.e. a travel agency located outside the province of Ontario):
There is no provision under Ontario Regulation 26/05 pursuant to the Travel Industry Act, 2002 for a consumer to claim on the Travel Compensation Fund when they have purchased travel services from an out-of-province travel agency. TICO can only recommend that you contact your travel agency for further assistance and/or your credit card company and request a refund, if applicable.
Consumers who purchased their SkyGreece Airlines S.A. travel services directly from the airline:
There is no provision under Ontario Regulation 26/05 pursuant to the Travel Industry Act, 2002 for a consumer to claim on the Travel Compensation Fund when they have purchased travel services directly from an airline. Consumers may wish to contact their credit card company and request a refund.
